The name Kàshzug Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Kàshzug Se was founded by Maegang Fluell Leyshon, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Kàshzug Se has a yearly average temperature of 31°C (87°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 28°C (82°F). Kàshzug Se receives an average of 192 cm/y (75 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Kàshzug Se covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3134 m (10282 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Kàshzug Se was founded durring the late 15th century in summer of the year 1386, by Maegang Fluell Leyshon. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
Kàshzug Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kàshzug Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brick construction taking the shape of large simple gemometric shapes which ate then embelished with decorative features, but retain their simple shapes in spite of the added features such as pillars, faccaddes, and covered walkways. The blocky nature gives a general impression of extreem age, as if each structure has existed since time immemorial.
Kàshzug Se is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive canals streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The frontieer-style defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
Even the most brief look arround Kàshzug Se has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The town is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Kàshzug Se, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.
Civic Infrastructure
Kàshzug Se has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kàshzug Se.
Kàshzug Se has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Kàshzug Se has a Department of Firefighters, which is responsible for organizing fire fighting efforts during a fire and enforcing local ordinances relating to fire safety.
Kàshzug Se has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Kàshzug Se has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kàshzug Se's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Kàshzug Se possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Kàshzug Se has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Kàshzug Se has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
Kàshzug Se's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is skipped in Kàshzug Se.
The Peafowl near Kàshzug Se are known to be quite timid.
Kàshzug Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves square dance to channel Mysticism energies of tier 2 via oath swearing.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Kàshzug Se was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Kàshzug Se lost 154 people, 156 livestock, and 50 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 65, when members of Kàshzug Se's militia enacted an operation to delay the operations of the enemy. The operation was complicated by one of the key objectives in the operation requiring sticking to a very strict and short time table. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the depot, which ended in a stalemate for Kàshzug Se's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Kàshzug Se's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
